Free and open source software runs across our daily lives and industry, made possible by the many people who build and maintain it behind the scenes. FOSS for All operates so that the FOSS ecosystem in Korea can grow sustainably, and so that communities and projects can focus on what matters most in their work.

Support us with ₩10,000 per month

FOSS for All is funded through monthly recurring donations of ₩10,000 (KRW). Please use Donation Box if you have a domestic Korean payment method, or GitHub Sponsors if you only have an international payment method.

Setting up the ₩10,000 monthly recurring donation automatically registers you as a supporting member of the organization, with no additional steps required. Supporting member status is automatically removed the month after your donation stops. See the Become a member page for details on membership.

How donations are used

We are committed to transparency with everyone who supports us. All financial records of the organization are published quarterly on our financial disclosure page. Donations are used for operating costs (server/domain and other infrastructure, meeting space rental, conference operations, administrative work, etc.).

Frequently asked questions

Can I receive a tax-deductible donation receipt?

Not at this time. The organization has not yet been designated as a public interest corporation under the Inheritance and Gift Tax Act, so we cannot issue tax-deductible donation receipts. As described in our long-term roadmap, we plan to pursue this designation after establishing a non-profit corporation, at which point receipt issuance would become possible.

Can I make a one-time donation?

Currently we only operate recurring donations. Donation Box recurring donations can be canceled immediately after a single payment with no issues, so you can use it like a one-time donation if you prefer.
