Funding and payments
Funding is capped at KRW 200,000 per recipient. This is an expense limit, rather than a lump-sum payment made upon selection. We cover eligible expenses for the recipient’s operations and activities through:
- Direct payments: FOSS for All pays vendors at the recipient’s request.
- Reimbursements: FOSS for All reimburses expenses paid by a recipient’s member after checking valid supporting documents.
Direct payments are preferred; costs that require automatic recurring payments, such as subscriptions, should be submitted for reimbursement. Recipients register on Open Collective, apply for FOSS for All to serve as their fiscal host, and submit expense requests through the platform. See the recipient terms (in Korean) for eligible expenses and documentation requirements, and the Open Collective registration guide (in Korean) for setup instructions.
